*Lucy, still blushing, looks angry.*
Lucy: Yes.
*Lucy softens, turning to look at Paulo.*
Lucy: It was you, Paulo..
*Paulo blushes, his eyes wide with surprise as he looks back.*

*In Lucy’s flashback, a bell rings.*
Lucy (narrating): But it was a long time ago.
Lucy (narrating): Back in fifth grade.
*Young Lucy sits at her desk, holding a piece of paper and looking blank.*
Teacher: Settle down, everyone! Today we’re welcoming a new student to our class..
Teacher: Please help Paulo feel right at home!
*Lucy narrows her eyes.*
Lucy (thinking): “Paulo”? Funny name.
Lucy (narrating): I looked up, expecting the guy would look as weird as his name was..
*Lucy looks up to the front of the room.*
Lucy: ?
Lucy (narrating): And.. well..
*A young Paulo stands beside the teacher, looking nervous. He’s wearing a long-sleeved hoodie with a white hood.*

*Paulo smiles up at the teacher.*
Paulo: I can sit at the back, then? Okay!
*Paulo walks by Lucy’s desk. Her face goes red.*
Lucy: …
*Lucy puts her head down on the desk, hiding in her arms and blushing intensely. Paulo looks at her, confused.*
Paulo: ?
*Paulo sits at a desk in the back of the room. Lucy shyly glances back at him and blushes deeply.*
Lucy (narrating): Not to massage your ego or anything, but you were pretty cute.
*Paulo and Daisy glance at each other.*
*Daisy waves at Paulo, smiling brightly.*
Daisy: Hi, I’m Daisy! Welcome to our school! ♥
*Daisy continues smiling.*
Daisy: If you need any help with anything, just ask me, okay?
*Paulo looks back at Daisy, nervous.*
Paulo: T-thanks..
*Paulo looks at Daisy, smiling.*
Paulo (thinking): She’s really nice, this girl..
*He glances at Lucy, with a concerned look on his face.*
Paulo (thinking): I wonder, though..
Paulo (thinking): What was with that white one?
*Lucy sits facing forward, sweating slightly.*

Veronica: Aww, baby Paulo!! What a charming sweet little lad! Funny how Daisy shows off her peppy kindness and even in the past she gets ignored over Lucy.. almost enough to give you a complex about Lucy, huh?
