*Daisy waves her arms in the air, laughing.*
Daisy: WHOO! That was so much fun~!

*Rachel gives Daisy a look.*
Rachel: But you didn’t buy anything!
*Daisy grins sheepishly.*
Daisy: Oh, there was nothing there I really liked.
Rachel: Really!

*Jessica and Katie approach. Jessica smiles down at Daisy.*
Jessica: You’re so much more conservative than I thought.. I’m surprised you don’t mind wearing our uniforms!
*Katie looks confused.*
Katie: Yahh! Like, how do you, like, attract guys?
*Daisy blushes.*
Daisy: Haha..

*Daisy looks away, dreamily.*
Daisy: I don’t really wanna attract just ANY guy..

*Rachel watches Daisy with wide eyes.*
Rachel: Ooh, so you have a crush?
*Daisy blushes.*
Daisy: Mm, yeah..
Rachel: Have you ever talked to him?
Daisy: All the time!

*Katie puts her hands on her hips.*
Katie: Why don’t you, like, ask him out?
*Daisy looks away, still blushing.*
Daisy: He’s taken.
Katie: Uhh.. is that, like, all?

*Katie gets close to Daisy.*
Katie: Like, do you even think they’ll last..?
*Daisy appears unsure.*
Daisy: Huh? Well.. it IS a long distance rela--
*Katie frowns.*
Katie: WHAT?!

*Jessica laughs.*
Jessica: Haha, seriously? Long distance relationships never work.
*Rachel smiles sympathetically.*
Rachel: He’s as good as single, I’d say.

*Daisy frowns, defensively.*
Daisy: Well, it’s not like he’s EVER been single! There’s always been this other girl, too.. If it’s not her, it’s the other! It’s not fair!

*Katie rolls her eyes.*
Katie: Sounds like a real player.
*Daisy snarls, red with anger.*
Daisy: WELL, HE ISN’T!!

*Katie laughs it off, surprising Daisy.*
Katie: Hon, he’s a boy. Get with the program. Boys are, like, all the same.

*Katie gives Daisy a sly look.*
Katie: They get desperate if their girlfriends aren’t around.. So, like, just be there for when that happens ♥

*Daisy blushes, taken aback.*
Katie: ’Cuz if ya aren’t, it’ll be that other girl.
Daisy (thinking): Lucy..

*Daisy holds her hand to her chest.*
Daisy: I couldn’t do something like that..
*Katie looks smug.*
Katie: It’s, like, yer choice, Maisy.

*Jessica and Rachel watch Daisy from a distance. They look a little concerned.*
Daisy (thinking): Then again..
Rachel: Daisy?

*Daisy smiles slightly.*
Daisy (thinking): I’m sure there are opportunities coming after Easter break..

*Daisy smiles to herself.*
Daisy: Sorry, Rachie.. What’s up?

*Daisy, Jessica, Rachel and Katie walk away, chattering and laughing among themselves.*
Rachel: Lemme show you something I KNOW he’ll like!
Daisy: Well, okay~
Katie: ♪

Author commentary

Veronica: I really love Katie in this. A pretty awful influence in general, but what she says makes sense! You either try to get it or you accept you lost! Daisy clearly doesn’t want to accept she lost.. even though she has.

Anyway, what a wonderful conclusion to a chapter about yelling at your friends!!!!!
