I personally love the art style from volume one. Like I can't imagine skipping it and starting at volume two, besides the plot points that you'd miss the bigger reason is the comedy. The jokes and chapters written in volume one are still some of my favorites because of how funny they were. Very clever writing went into it and I highly appreciate it.
@Physics yeah nostalgia can be bittersweet (no pun intended). The Joy something gave you then can make you sad you don't feel it now. Just be glad it happened though, that's what I always do.
