and i never read up to this part in the comic but i feel like you can just hear Augustus simultaneously trying to calm her down and persuade her.
The bright gradient coming up from the bottom of the picture is great because it makes it feel tense and like things are boiling over
I love this because Auggie done did fuck up here, super badly. It's inexcuseable. I love his character a lot still, but that is certainly a thing that can not and should not be over-looked. U8

thank you and yes!! don't get me wrong, i love augustus and i think that he deserves a second chance and has bettered himself after this point in the comic but.. i get soo frustrated when i see everyone forget that he did this! that daisy had to go through with this bs!! it was horrible and traumatizing, especially for someone like her who already has horrible issues with attention/being ignored.... again i know he's been through a lot of crap too but... (in unison) we have to kill him
