This is an old drawing that I realized I forgot to post on the booru before. It's an idea for a prompt that came to mind when I imagined Lucy 'unshackling' Augustus's collar as he 'unraveled' the ribbon around her neck, serving as a thematic piece around freedom from their drawbacks (i.e. Lucy's obsession with Mike/Augustus's really crappy situation at home). Originally, I was experimenting with art styles to see which one I felt most comfortable with and used this idea as a playground. Fit Augustus here pretty well, not so much Lucy, so I eventually changed it. Maybe one day I'll remake it? :unsure:

this is such a good piece, both expressions are so perfectly bittersweet and i love how realistically augustus's shirt is drawn! also his hair is such fluffy goodness. fantastic job.
