Also it's backwards. Pretend to wield a gun right now to shoot, you would not see the back of her hand in that pose.
The characters I draw may have a bit of stylised warped proportion, but there are some things that are consistent like hands not being uber-tiny. I still like the way Lucy turned out!!!!

It's not just the hands that are tiny, it's her entire body. Her head is basically equivalent to the entire mass of the body shown.
