Trying new styles is not a piece of cake

I guess my previous pic spooked you all, sorry for that ^^U I'm not definitely ready to try canyon coloring in public for now.

Now I tried this, similar to these doujinshi in pixiv. Despite my control on the tablet is still not good, I'm loving this! Dunno, guess makes my lineart looking more natural or something....my self evaluations aren't very accurate.

Soooo yep, tribute for teh current chapter. I don't like Paulo (never fancied " I'm cool, I know I am" characters) but he is fun to draw

@johnny_hurricane: No, I have no plans to color it. The point here was really in this simple. I'm trying to get ideas with less colors as possible.

This is a lot less fuzzy that usual. More detailed, maybe. I like it. And I like seeing you try slightly different styles. I actually opened a bunch of your drawings to compare this to, hahaha.

His front, left paw looks a bit awkward, though. The position of the present on his head looks like it's about to fall, or maybe leaning on an invisible backpack...
